Sales & lettings for the Derbyshire countryside and beyond.

Derbyshire Properties are a well established estate agent with good old fashioned values who believe in having a traditional presence on the high street. But they are also forward thinking. Their aim is to provide a modern and progressive estate agency service utilising the best technology, while maintaining their physical presence in Belper and Alfreton.

Their existing identity was certainly traditional, but not well suited for the digital age they were moving into, so they approached us to discuss logo, branding & signage design.

First and foremost was the new logo, they wanted it to reflect their traditional values but have a modern twist, which we achieved by using the interlocking D and S in a slab serif font for the modern feel, and paired it with a classic serif font for the traditional aspect. The colour palette was inspired by Farrow and Ball but also with one eye on what was achievable on the external signage, as the RAL colours available for signage design are more limited than Pantone.

Once more, we worked closely with Signs Express Nottingham to produce the internal and external signage at both offices because they had done such a good job for us at The Townhouse in Arnold, Nottingham.

We also designed their ‘For Sale’ boards, stationery, sales particulars, folders and other literature, as well as providing the graphics to their web developer to make sure the new site was also on-brand.
