As you can probably tell from various previous posts… we love a bit of Movie Poster Design. Official posters are great, but often the most creative posters are the ones designed by artists and designers with more of a free rein. The pressure to have the ‘floating heads’ at the top of the frame and a scene below has been done to death and doesn’t look original, this approach from the major studios really stifles creativity. Thankfully a whole genre of ‘Alternative Posters’ has sprung up since the advent of Mondo.

One of the artists we’ve come across on our journey around the web is Joseph Harrold. We first saw his work on the awesome website dedicated to movie poster design alternativemovieposters.com and sought out more from his page on Behance.
