Do you do packaging design?

That was the question we were asked by an existing client recently. It made us realise that we can never make any assumptions that everyone knows what we can do. Hence putting this piece of design on to our portfolio.

We were asked by Nottingham based Reydon Sports (the UK’s largest sports wholesale/distribution company) to come up with a series of concepts for their range of exercise equipment. Once the final design was agreed upon for the 3 sample products, we worked with their overseas suppliers to arrange for the rest of the artwork to be created.

We produce a lot of our design work in-house, but sometimes we feel it needs another pair of eyes… a different perspective, so we contacted BLU:72 Creative. They initially rebranded our American sports line ‘Midwest’ and we were so happy with what they did, when it came to creating some packaging concepts for our fitness equipment, we were more than happy to deal with them again.

Des Hodgson, Manager – Reydon Sports

We have since gone on to create the packaging design for ‘Swimtech’, Reydon Sports’s upcoming new range of swimming products.
