ESPN Euro 2016 Illustrations
On the eve of the UEFA Euro 2016 tournament in France, check out these awesome Euro 2016 illustrations by French artist Florian Nicole.
Florian says “I try to create an image that retains its freshness of the first paint stroke, the expressions of the line have to be very free and spontaneous. While keeping a rigorous drawing”.
ESPN commissioned Florian to create a series of posters, one for each team featuring the star players such as Vardy, Rooney and Kane for England, Bale for Wales, Ronaldo for Portugal and Zlatan for Sweden, plus a generic tournament image, all with the slogan “more than…” and I’m sure you’ll agree, the results are stunning. Below are some of our favourites.
